The Madame’s Bone Oracle Reading 04.01.20

The Spirits chose HEART, MASK, and EARTH from The Madame’s Bone Oracle today.

I’ll break down the meaning of each bone, and then we’ll discuss them as a group.

HEART: Problem solved through feeling, connections to others, love

MASK: Perception, things aren’t as they appear, deception

EARTH: Money, Property, Family, Health, Physical Body, Mundane Solution

I had a hard time settling in for this reading today, which is why it’s so late in posting. Like everyone else, I’m feeling the strain of this pandemic and its far reaching effects, and it’s getting to me. Nothing blocks intuitive channels like fear and anxiety! I struggle at times to “shield up”, so to speak – it’s a delicate balance between empathy and shielding – leaving just enough of a veil to allow messages to flow freely out while not allowing the chaos to come crashing in. I pondered if this message was specifically for me today, and that maybe I should draw again for the collective reading. I decided that if this is the message the Spirits chose, it will resonate with more than just me. The HEART bone keeps making an appearance in so many private readings this week, and it’s really no surprise. We are being round-house kicked in the emotions lately, and we’re all feeling raw and vulnerable. So many of us are trying to keep up the brave face, the MASK of calm for the sake of others, whether that’s your children, your parents, your patients or your employees. We’re  trying to keep it together, because most of us know that losing our shit is not helpful right now. But the pressure is building from all the (metaphorical and physical) MASK wearing, and if we don’t find ways to relieve it, it’s gonna blow. So let’s all have a collective valve release right now.

Remove the “MASK”. Close your eyes. Concentrate on the blackness behind your eyelids. Unclench your jaw. Relax your shoulders. Release all the muscles that are contracted in your body. Breath in for 7 seconds. Breath out for 10. Do that 10 times, and then come back to finish reading…I’ll be doing it too…

Did your HEART beat a little slower? Do you feel a bit more centered?

We need to practice that more often when we’re feeling stressed. Sometimes I catch myself clenching my jaw and holding my breath – it’s like my body knows I’m stressed, but my conscious brain is always so busy that it hasn’t realized it yet. I know some of you can relate. We also need to be more proactive about asking for comfort from others – allowing our HEART and their HEART to have some connection in a transaction of peace. I’m lucky enough to be quarantined with my husband of 24 years (he can’t get away from me, and I couldn’t be happier about it), so when I feel like it’s all becoming too much, I can go ask him to hold me (while he wears his “It’s all going to be ok” MASK for me) and get centered back to my HEART. It’s a grounding of sorts, much like the benefit we receive when utilizing the EARTH for the same. If you don’t have a person to hug handy right now, the EARTH is the next best thing. EARTH in this reading is multi-faceted. One facet is that we should be utilizing the literal EARTH energies for the purpose I just spoke of – grounding. When it feels like the sky is falling, you can go lay on the ground, look up and see that it isn’t. Laying on the EARTH and practicing breath techniques to calm, center, and ground excess energy may be one of the most valuable practices you can incorporate into your life right now. Give the EARTH your anxiety and fear, and it will recycle it – returning energy to you that will be vital and useful as you go forward. Another facet of EARTH is of the mundane areas of life – home, finances, health, family. Perhaps today is a good day to take a break from the emotional work that we’ve been tasked with this past week, and look at some of the more mundane things that need to be taken care of. It’s a great time to thoroughly clean the house, patch up that paint, sweep out the garage, weed the flower bed, organize the closets, plan a meal schedule for the week…you know, fun stuff like that (I’m a Virgo, sorry!). All things that don’t really require a financial transaction (or leaving the house)  to accomplish, because finances can get us all up in our emotions, and we need to take a break from that today.

TLDR: Ground your emotions today. Try to focus on mundane tasks to give your heart a rest.
