17 Apr The Madame’s Bone Oracle Reading 04.17.20

The Spirits chose FIRE, MIRROR, and FAMILIAR from The Madame’s Bone Oracle.
FIRE: Transformation, Purification, Energy, Passion, Spiritual Essence
MIRROR: Reality, Truth, Certainty, Perspective
FAMILIAR: Family Member, Home, Friend – people, places, things you know
Out of the last 20 public readings, FIRE, MIRROR, and FAMILIAR have each shown up 5 times, though in different placement in the readings. In the Tarot, the number 5 symbolizes change, instability, and conflict – so is it really any surprise that today’s reading revolves around dealing with transformation? FIRE indicates the need to purify and transform. When paired with MIRROR, it’s the need to purify and transform ourselves. This means seeing things as they REALLY are, instead of how we WANT them to be. That feels a little rough right now. Our collective reality is a bit grim at the moment. However, FAMILIAR urges us to apply this message in our own lives first. Change starts with you, inside your own home. Don’t try to change what is outside of the window. Let’s each “remove the splinter” from our own eye to enable us to see a different perspective. We need to stop shifting blame to what seems to be the obvious culprit(s), and look in the MIRROR to see our own part in it. If we try to tackle societal issues without addressing our personal issues, we will fail. The message of the Tower card in the Tarot has never been more appropriate: Let the false crumble and burn. Rebuild with truth.
