SEEKER: Self, Ego, Querent, Within
I love a good synchronicity. Last night, before bed, I read the following quote posted by The Alchemist’s Kitchen:
“The divine communicates to us primarily through the language of the natural world. Not to hear the natural world is not to hear the divine.” – Thomas Berry
The 3 bones pulled for today’s bone reading reflect this message perfectly!
FLORA is speaking to the animism of the plant kingdom – the spiritual essence inherent in each root, bud, leaf, and flower that can be accessed by the SEEKER through working with that plant. MOON indicates this access is granted subconsciously via our intuitive channels. For today, let’s take a break from worry and stress and do a fun exercise. Close your eyes, and think of a plant or flower that you like. If that plant were a person, what would they look like? What would their personality be like? How would you work together? Take note of all of your senses during this exercise. Write it down to refer back to. Bonus points if you can sketch what you see in your mind’s eye. Next, do a little research on that plant’s metaphysical meaning, medicinal/food/ornamental use, and it’s growth cycle and habits. When you’re finished, refer back to your notes. Any correlations? Did you intuitively pick up secrets to that plant’s spiritual language? How can you incorporate that plant’s message into your daily life, even if you have a black thumb and can’t even grow weeds? Once you’ve created an intuitive connection with that one plant, you can move on to another plant in the same manner. Pay attention to what attracts you or repels you in the plant kingdom, and each plant spirit’s interaction with your own spirit. The natural world has so much to teach us if we just listen.
