WATER: Relationships, Emotions, Healing, Emotional Being

DEATH: Ending, Letting Go, Past

MASK: Perception, things aren’t as they appear, deception

Happy Full Moon! Oooh, this reading is so much moon energy I.can’t.even.  WATER and DEATH fell out of the bag together, and when I drew MASK, the message was made quite clear. Let’s look at some symbolism and correspondences first. WATER is connected to the moon, as its tides are affected by the gravitational pull of the Moon, and they share similar feminine and intuitive qualities. DEATH is associated with the Moon in its dark nighttime sky and the mysteries from beyond the veil. MASK is associated with the Moon in the secretive aspects of the Dark Moon. Today’s message is to put an end (DEATH) to MASKing your emotions (WATER). Emotions can be  tricky – they guide us and keep life from being static and robotic, but they can also make life messy.  Emotions can be used to MASK other emotions.  Have you ever met someone who always seemed angry, but when you dug deeper, you found they were actually scared or hurt, but used anger to MASK that vulnerability? That’s what the Spirits are talking about today – DEATH to facades (MASK)!  The Full Moon glimmering on the surface of WATER acts as a mirror (the flipside of MASK), illuminating the darkness and encouraging us to look within, go deeper, and see the truth. Today’s reading is saying DEATH to the superficial and to all the MASKs we wear that don’t promote truth. Emotional depth is what this Full Moon is all about. If you find you’ve been MASKing your emotions, find one opportunity today to go deep. Tell someone how you really feel – good, bad, or indifferent. Be vulnerable. It can be scary, but it propels us toward the truth and allows connections to be made that serve our highest and best aspirations.
