The Madame’s Bone Oracle Reading 08.11.20

The Spirits chose SPIRIT, DEATH, and MIRROR from The Madame’s Bone Oracle this morning.

Today’s message is that our loved ones that have passed can be found in our reflection. When SPIRIT and DEATH are pulled together, I read this literally as spirits of those we knew in life  who have passed on to the other side. In keeping with their literal message, MIRROR today is just that – our image reflected back to us. It’s a message that says when we’re missing them, we need only look in the mirror. This isn’t only meant for those spirits with whom we shared blood ties that we may physically resemble. Our lives are a series of experiences and interactions with others that leave their marks. Some of those marks are like beautiful tattoos, and some are traumatic scars. Either way, they forever change us. For example, if you’ve lost a parent, you may see traits of their physical appearance when you look in the mirror, but if you look past that, perhaps you see their fortitude, their patience, or their sense of humor. These aren’t things you physically see, but that are certainly reflected in your actions. This message is also about our ancestors. This isn’t the romanticized version where all of our ancestors were fine upstanding citizens without fault. No, today’s message is about acknowledging their human imperfections and breaking the generational chains that ties us to their mistakes. We are not destined to become what our ancestors were – good or bad. We are sovereign beings, with our own destinies and fates but most importantly, choices. If your ancestors were an unsavory bunch, you don’t have to use their lives as the road map to your own life. If you don’t like the line you were born from, it’s up to you to break that chain by making different choices than they did. Forge your own path that you can be proud of when you look in the mirror. On a side note, be aware of SPIRITS lingering in MIRRORS today! You may catch a glimpse in the periphery…
