12 Aug The Madame’s Bone Oracle Reading 08.12.20
The Spirits chose STRANGE, BIRTH, and WATER from The Madame’s Bone Oracle this morning.
Today’s message is about feeling like a stranger in a STRANGE land. We’ve been cast ashore by the raging sea, thrust like a newborn (BIRTH) from the womb (WATER). We find ourselves under a lightning struck sky, floundering on the sand like a fish out of WATER, shivering beneath the torrential rains. So now what? Well, we survey our surroundings and look for safety. We concentrate our efforts on surviving, instead of the superfluous and vain. We strip all of our thoughts down to the basics and seek shelter and sustenance. Primal necessities only: safety, food, shelter. This is how we survive the storm – by conserving our energy and retracting into our primal nature. The Spirits are telling us today that if you are feeling wishy-washy (WATER) and out of sorts (STRANGE), to go back to the beginning (BIRTH) – back to the basics. Are you safe? Check. Do you have shelter? Check. Have you been fed? Check. If you can check those three boxes, you can acclimate to this STRANGE environment. If you can’t check those three boxes, seek out only those things and nothing more. Steady yourself in those primal needs today and let go of all the distractions that feel like tidal waves, threatening to drown you at any minute. Once the storm clouds move past, we can venture out on this new land to start our new life (BIRTH), eventually seeking out others who may have been washed ashore as well. But for today, find your landlubber legs, focus on the horizon if you’re feeling seasick, and seek shelter. “Ooh, a storm is threatening – My very life today – If I don’t get some shelter – Ooh yeah, I’m gonna fade away” (Rolling Stones – Gimme Shelter)
