The Spirits chose DEATH, EARTH, and FLORA from The Madame’s Bone Oracle this morning.
Some days, the Spirits play coy and their message requires me to sit with it for a while before deciphering it. Other days, they are blatant in their communication. Today was a blatant day. We’ve all seen the image on our social media feeds with the autumn leaves (FLORA) and the quote “The EARTH is getting ready to show us how beautiful it is to let things go” or something of that nature. That is what today’s message is about. It’s time for a culling. Autumn is quickly approaching (even though Florida still thinks it’s high summer), and with it, the season of death. DEATH isn’t just about death of the body, but about death of those things we no longer need, that no longer serve our highest good, or that hinder our progress. It’s about the release before the great sleep of Winter in preparation for rebirth in Spring. What are you holding onto that you need to let go of? What is decaying despite your best efforts to revive it? What do you need to sacrifice to the season in order to make room for what’s coming in the future? You can’t accept what’s meant for you if your hands are full of what isn’t. Let it go.
